Peppa Pig’s New Sibling

Peppa Pig is getting a new sibling and the internet is freaking out. If you grew up watching Peppa Pig, you might have heard that she is getting a new sibling! Mummy Pig just dropped the bombshell that she's pregnant with a baby girl and fans are totally losing it. 

The news came out on Good Morning Britain, where Mummy Pig showed off her sonogram and shared how pumped she is about her third baby. “We’re so excited to grow our family,” she said, “but George is already a handful, so this should be interesting!” 

And in classic Peppa Pig style, the gender reveal was not lowkey at all. On April 25th, London’s Battersea Power Station lit up in bright pink lights to announce the big news. It was not a balloon pop or a cake cutting — an actual iconic landmark glowing pink. 

But it gets better, the new baby isn't just popping into the show randomly. There's a whole movie event called Peppa Meets the Baby Cinema Experience coming out on May 30th. It's going to be a full hour of brand new episodes, six original songs, music videos, and all the chaos that comes with adding a new baby to the family. Basically, it's Peppa Pig: The Sequel We Didn't Know We Needed.

Apparently, the movie will show how Peppa and George handle all the changes because let's be honest, being an older sibling isn't always sunshine and muddy puddles. There'll be laughs, maybe a few tantrums, and lots of adorable moments. 

As for the baby's name? Mummy Pig told Grazia magazine they haven’t chosen one yet. “We’ve got a few in mind,” she said, “but we want to wait until we meet her.” Classic parent move. Fans are already throwing out guesses on social media — Petunia, Penny, and even Pigatha are trending, which, honestly, we’re here for.

This storyline is a pretty big deal for the show. It’s not just about adding a cute new character. It’s about showing little kids what it’s like when your family grows and everything shifts a bit. And yeah, it’s a cartoon, but it hits you right in the feels if you’ve ever had to share your space, your parents, or your toys with a new baby.

So mark your calendars, Peppa squad. May 30th is about to be legendary. And who knows, maybe the baby will be the next big icon of the Peppa universe. Watch out, George.
