Renne Nicole Good was fatally shot on January 7, 2026 by an Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agent. She lived in Minneapolis, Minnesota during the situation and took the community by shock and outrage. Good was only 37-years-old and had been a U.S. citizen for her whole life. Recently six new bat species were discovered just days before Halloween. The bats were discovered in several different forests on islands in the Philippines. The first species, being Murina Alvarezi, was discovered in the protected forest of Mount Kampalili-Puting Bato. Today, on October 28, 2025, there was an electrical issue in the 200 wing of Mayfair high school. This caused immediate concern for the people in the wing and issued for those in range to move to the gym for the time being. Many students, teachers, and admin were alarmed so the fire station was called in order to assess the situation. One student reported that other people should stop falsely pulling the fire alarm because situations similar to this one could occur again.
