Temporary Government Shutdown

A few months after the record-breaking government shutdown, a partial government shutdown has now unfortunately surfaced due to funding over immigration enforcement, with Trump taking action in hopes of putting an end to the shutdown ASAP. He urged the House to vote; however, both political parties have not been the most eager to approve of the funding, and have their own demands towards immigration forces after the deaths of two Americans in Minneapolis (Alex Pretti and Renee Nicole Good). On top of many lawmakers wanting Kristi Noem out of office, in response to her comments on the Alex Pretti shooting, with her claiming that he attacked the officers, resulting in them acting in self-defense. There was a vote on February 3rd, however, that had successfully put an end to the temporary shutdown. So there will no longer be any more concern about a long government shutdown like the previous one where Trump signed a bill to end it. Along with some very few changes that were made to immigration services, however, they will still be up and running, which may or may not spark controversy, given that ICE was given no drawbacks or add-ons. Allowing them to continue business as usual. Lawmakers have been said to be looking for a way to negotiate and find an agreement where more changes will be made to immigration enforcement, in order to prevent further casualties. With conversations already being documented between them, more updates will be provided as time goes on.
