Student Spotlight: Faith Stewart

Faith Stewart is a courageously driven student athlete involved in varsity girls soccer who loves making people smile and laugh. 

Q: How long have you been at Mayfair?

A: “I have been at Mayfair since 7th grade.”

Q: What sports/activities/clubs are you currently involved in at Mayfair?

A: “I am in National Honors Society, CSF, Girls Soccer, and I’m planning to join track this coming season.” 

Q: What do you like to do in your spare time?

A: “In my spare time I enjoy club soccer, riding dirtbikes, and skateboarding.”

Q: What do you love about Mayfair?

A: “I love my friends and teachers at Mayfair as well as the athletics.” 

Q: What has been your favorite class you're taking this year?

A: My favorite class this year has been Photography because I can express my creative side. I also really like the teacher, Mr. Shaheen.

Q: Who is someone that has inspired you throughout your time at Mayfair?

A: “Someone who has inspired me at Mayfair was my Spanish 1 teacher, Señora Lara, because she is kind and truly wants you to understand her lessons.”

Q: What is a fun fact about yourself?

A: “A fun fact about me is that I surf and love the ocean.”

Varsity soccer teammate, Valerie Silva, mentions, “Faith has an amazing personality and is known for her kindness and positivity towards everyone she meets. As a teammate, she’s always willing to push herself and others to improve. I really enjoy playing soccer with her because she makes the game more fun while still taking it seriously, and her positive attitude helps bring the team together.”

Close friend, Brielle Anderson commented, “Faith is a very compassionate, kind person. She’s dedicated to what she does whether it be in the classroom or on the field. She loves the beach and riding dirt bikes.”

Close friend, Ryann Gordon, said, “Faith is a very reliable person to go to if you need a bit of cheering up or you simply need someone to hear you out on your problems. Lots of people at Mayfair can agree that Faith is always going to be there when you need her no matter what. She always has a smile on her face and  has positive things to say about people.”
