I got the privilege to attend the Cal State Long Beach trip on Thursday, September 18, 2025. I found the trip very insightful and interesting to learn about. I have always been interested in attending CSULB, so going on the trip only confirmed my thoughts further. Even though it was extremely humid, me and my friends had a lot of fun touring the campus and learning about all the perks that come with being a college student there.
The tour guide showed us various buildings and one that stuck out to me was the psychology building because that is what I hope to study in the future. After the tour guide finished showing us around the campus, we had about an hour and a half of free time to explore the campus ourselves. Me and my friends took advantage of this opportunity and walked around campus.
First, we went to a building where their own little aquarium was held since we were hoping to get a chance to see it. They kindly welcomed us inside and even gave us a small tour of the aquarium, showing all the bones and animals they had inside. We eventually made our way to the tanks and we got to see stingrays, eels, all sorts of sharks and fish. We thanked our guide and we happily left with that experience.
Then, we went into the book store where they had a ton of different merchandise available. Some merchandise that stuck out to me and my friends were the little Snoopy stuffed animals they had there since we love Snoopy.
Eventually, our time was up and we made our way back to school to finish the day. Overall, the trip was very insightful as me and my friends enjoyed going on the trip and definitely would not mind eventually attending the school. Thank you Mayfair for letting me and other students have the opportunity to visit CSULB!
