D4vd is reportedly under investigation after the dismembered body of his ex-girlfriend, Celeste Rivas Hernandez, was found in his abandoned Tesla.

On September 8, 2025, the Los Angeles Police Department discovers a dismembered body in an abandoned Tesla linked to D4vd, who is the owner of the Tesla, according to ABC 7 Eyewitness News. At the time, D4vd was on the “WITHERED 2025 World Tour,” preparing for his concert in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The concert went like normal, despite D4vd not speaking out about the allegations, according to multiple videos by TikTok users who went to the concert in Minneapolis.

On September 10th, 2025, they identified the dismembered body as a 15-year-old female known as Celeste Rivas Hernandez. She has been missing since April 5, 2024, according to Al Jazeera. Before Celeste went missing, it was strongly speculated that she and D4vd were dating. They both had matching tattoos on their right index fingers that read “Shhh…” and they would also message each other on the social media platform Discord, according to the Economic Times. Unverified leaks also unearthed an unreleased song of D4vd’s, titled “Celeste.”

Due to the tension of the situation, D4vd canceled all of his remaining tour dates. Several artists and brands he had partnered with suspended collaborations, while many fans expressed shock and grief online over Celeste’s death. Users expressed this situation by feeling grief for Celeste’s passing, creating memes, and even making a remix song of Romantic Homicide.

At this time, police state that D4vd is not considered a formal suspect but remains under investigation. Regardless if he pleads not guilty, his reputation will be hard to maintain. Friends and family of Celeste Rivas held a vigil on September 22 at Lake Elsinore, leaving messages, balloons, and candles in her memory, according to TMZ.
