Today, on October 28, 2025, there was an electrical issue in the 200 wing of Mayfair high school. This caused immediate concern for the people in the wing and issued for those in range to move to the gym for the time being. Many students, teachers, and admin were alarmed so the fire station was called in order to assess the situation. One student reported that other people should stop falsely pulling the fire alarm because situations similar to this one could occur again.

One of Mayfair’s most actively involved students is 2026 senior Nayeli Gatica. Nayeli is involved in ASB, girls volleyball, beach volleyball, AVP club, and pickleball club. Nayeli is on the varsity girl’s volleyball team as an outside hitter and setter.
