Street Interviews: Thoughts About Armed Security Guards on Campus

These high schoolers are having mixed opinions about us getting armed security surrounding the perimeter of our school. Others are concerned that the presence of the armed security creates more of a scary environment for the students. Some students focus on whether or not the district should spend their money on better things. Some argued that we do need it to protect all the students from all of the threats. Ultimately, students do want to be safe and feel safe. Here are student opinions of the Black Knight Security Services.

This post is an interesting perspective on the role of armed security guards on campuses. The safety of students and staff is paramount, and on-site security in Gelderland (Beveiliging op locatie Gelderland) plays a key role in maintaining that safety. While armed security may be seen as a necessary measure to prevent incidents, it's important to ensure that their presence doesn’t create an atmosphere of fear. Discussions like these help us evaluate the best ways to maintain a balance between security and a positive campus environment.
