The recent political happenings have brought quite the influx of attention for our two highest presidential candidates. Kamala Harris and Donald Trump have been head-to-head on every subject that involves change in the government. So far, Harris seems to be making a more impactful presence as she holds the highest voting percentage overall, slightly passing Trump. After the televised debate that occurred on September 10 between Harris and Trump, tension has been high and numbers after the debate shifted by a rather small but visible amount. Seeing as throughout the duration of the debate, there had been several remarks of dishonesty when it came to Trump's claims, these accusations from Harris might have decreased his level of reliability. However, from Trump's defense, his claims surrounded the idea that the past three years that Harris had as vice president in office had been wasted potential for better action that could have been taken amidst the issues at the time. After the debate, it might be safe to say that a sizable amount agreed that Harris won the said debate after watching the overall performance.
Considering this, the percentage and population of democrats has increased a bit when it comes to the political poll. The highest range of democrats, according to ABC News, seem to vary from certain states involving Michigan, Wisconsin and Pennsylvania. This higher step up for Harris appears to be a bit of a shift compared to the last Biden vs. Trump election of which Trump had been in the lead for quite a while. The latest debates that occurred between Biden and Trump had only made way for the opportunity to expose the condition of Biden’s age, ultimately leaving Trump with the advantage on that front.
