Mrs.Amezola was raised in Colima, a small town in Mexico. At the age of 13 she relocated to the United States with her family! By the time she was 13, she knew English already. From a very young age, Mrs.Amezola showed a strong interest in Biology. Ever since she was little, she always knew that she would pursue a college career. The fascination with biology began when she first learned about the science of the DNA mechanisms. This passion for biology has been a constant throughout her academic and professional journey!

Prior to joining Mayfair, Mrs.Amezola had gained experience working as a PE teacher and had also worked at five other different schools. This is her 9th year teaching biology. Mrs.Amezola expresses a deep affection for her students at Mayfair and values her relationships with her colleagues. Her goal is to inspire students to discover engaging and enjoyable aspects of biology in her classes. She also wants to build connections with her students and have relationships with them!

Reflecting on her childhood, Mrs. Amezola recalls lining up her dolls and pretending to be a teacher showing her longstanding aspiration to educate. She also loves doing labs. The first organism she had ever dissected was a worm. By teaching biology, she aims to equip her students with some practical skills that will benefit them in the future. Furthermore she emphasizes the importance of organizational skills among her younger students and enables them to apply these skills as they mature.

During her time here at Mayfair, Mrs. Amezola wants to establish a folkloric club! Outside of her academic responsibilities, Mrs.Amezola maintains a good active lifestyle by doing regular workouts.

She also loves watching TV, preferably reality TV. She also loves cooking and baking. One of her favorite TV programs is the British baking shows! As Mrs.Amezola looks forward to the future she remains fostering the love of learning with her students!
