ZEROBASEONE Extends Their Contract

ZEROBASEONE extends project activities until March. Zerobaseone was formed through Mnet’s audition program called “Boys Planters" and debuted with the EP “Youth in the Shade” on July 10, 2023. The group had nine finalists: Zhang Hao, Seok Matthew, Ricky, Park Gun-wook, Kim Taerae, Kim Gyu-vin, Kim Ji-woong, Han Yujin, and Sun Hanbin who all made the final cut. They have extended their group activities until March before the band will hold an encore concert and release a new song. This decision comes as the members expressed their will to return to the love of their fandom, Zerose. The band's company WakeOne had said, “The members will prepare the encore concerts and new music to show their gratitude and love on stage.” During their career, they have published six mini-albums and one full album. They sold more than a million copies each from their debut albums “Youth in the Shade" to their first full album “Never Say Never”. Zerobaseone has ten Rookie of the Year Awards from different awards and ceremonies. In their first year as a group, they had won 16 awards. In 2024, they had won 15 awards. In 2025, they have won six awards. This group has won a daesang known as the most important award for their group. They had just performed at the MAMA awards with being the most praised performance as all of the fans showed them lots of love knowing this will probably be their last performance and award show as a full group. They will forever be remembered for gaining massive success and breaking sales records with their albums. They will also be known for their “monster rookie” status representing a journey even though they had come from a bad company who always mistreats their workers.. They will officially disband in March of 2026.
