Dear Margot...
“With Homecoming coming up and all this homework piling up, I feel overwhelmed. What are some tips to manage my time and still have fun?”
Dear Reader,
Sorry for the late response now that Homecoming has passed, but the next big event might be coming, and you still might feel that level of stress in your life where you feel like you’re too busy with homework or other school activities that are keeping you busy. The honest response to fix that is just to prioritize your main responsibilities so that you will have enough time to do whatever you want for anything you want to do for fun. It seems boring to just prioritize your main responsibilities over the fun, but it’s the right thing to do if you want to have fun, but you are stressing over school. It’s a great strategy to not worry about the things you have to do and overall separate yourself from your life working on homework or studying or just having other responsibilities from that life where you just want to have fun living. It might be hard, and you might feel as if you just want to 'take the easy way out and not have to worry about anything,' but you still have to put the work in. If you put in all the work in doing your homework or studying, then you won’t have to worry about having no time to do the fun things you want to do. Overall, just be disciplined enough to do your homework, but balance yourself out so you don’t have to be that type of person to just be addicted to working over and over again. You will have fun, but you've got to be focused on things you have to do, and you’ll get the prize later.
