Young Black Scholars Gallery Walk

On February 26th, the Young Black Scholars club – better known as YBS – hosted a gallery walk with most of its members doing presentations on famous black icons/famous historical figures in honor of Black History month. The event took place inside the library, it was originally supposed to take place outside in front of the MPB, but unfortunately it had rained which had caused the change of scenery. But nonetheless, each person made beautiful, creative and artistic displays showcasing the amazing figures they chose to represent for their presentation, while the members were presenting there was also music playing to really loosen up the vibes and make it even more enjoyable and people were even dancing while presentations were ongoing. Mrs. Young (the high school counselor) even stopped by to view one of the members' presentations as well! All around the gallery walk was a success and very enjoyable to attend.
