Last month, on September 11th, 2025, Club Rush took place at Mayfair during high school lunch. There were many different kinds of clubs that everyone could enjoy and find a way to express themselves. Here are some of the clubs that students could join.
The Care Crafts Project offered service hours, creating all kinds of crafts, including cards, bracelets, and other crafts. They are then donated to charities, hospitals, and hospices.
The Mandarin Club talks about the history of Mandarin. They go on different field trips, show cultural presentations, and teach Kung Fu lessons at one point. They even showed a dragon dance last school year!
The Dungeons and Dragons Club is a club where you meet up with the members, and well, play Dungeons and Dragons which includes math and strategy. They also provided you with your own 3D character for the first meeting.
The Key Club is a social club that provides community service hours, helps with building character and social skills, and offers scholarships.
The National Honors Society is a club that includes service hours, helps with your future for college such as helping you stand out to more colleges, and also helps you get awards.
The Girl Up Club is a club that focuses on women who are misrepresented or feel unheard. They advocate for gender equality and the welfare of girls. They talk to many about issues like developing leadership skills and promoting gender justice.
SkillsUSA is a club that can help unlock students’ potential and discover career opportunities. They are related to Career Technical Education or CTE. Not only that, but they compete in both regional and national competitions.
Those were few of the many amazing clubs that were offered to many students here at Mayfair High School. They all had something to offer, whether it was for fun, education, world problems, or something you can just find interest in.
