Mayfair Welcomes Ms. Vitale

Mayfair introduces our middle school students to a new teacher named Ms. Vitale! For those who don't know, Ms. Vitale is a new middle school teacher in the 100 wing in room 112. 

Q: What subjects do you teach, and to what grade?

A: “I teach 7th grade English and one 8th grade class of Success 2."

Q: What were you before becoming a teacher?

A: “I was a manager in retail stores at Knotts Berry Farm and the Los Angeles International Airport.”

Q: What are your hobbies outside of school?

A: "I'm in a book club which I've been a part of for 19 years. I also love to go out to eat or out to the movies”

Q: How has your experience been at Mayfair?

A: “Fabulous, better than I expected.”

Q:What do you enjoy most about Mayfair?

A: “I love the energy of my students and my fellow faculty members.”

Q: What is your greatest accomplishment?

A: “My greatest accomplishment is an Aunt, I have 4 nieces and 1 nephew. And now, I have 2 extra nephews because 2 of my nieces got married.

Q: If you could learn a new skill what would it be and why?

A: "I would love to learn how to make jewelry because there's a class where I live, but I can't take it because I'm still working. When I retire I'm planning on taking that jewelry making class.”

Q: How was your summer break?

A: “It was awesome. I went on an anniversary trip with my husband to Solvang Santa Barbara and then, for 1 solid month, I went to water aerobics every single day.”

Ms. Vitale is such a great person and was so sweet during this interview. She is such an interesting person and was so fun to interview. She is such a lovely lady with such a positive attitude. If you ever get the chance to stop by her room in the 100 wing and say hello, it will help make her feel more welcomed at Mayfair.
