Mr. Cross' Impact

Some might ask who my favorite teacher is, but they don't ask who’s impacted my life more. Mr. Cross is the teacher that has impacted my life the most. I remember the first day of sophomore year, he was dressed accordingly and I was a few minutes late. Friday soon came around; as I walked in the classroom I was astounded seeing him wear clothing representing metal and punk culture, he had a vest full of patches and a tie around his beard. It made me feel relieved to know that my teacher is in fact sane and not boring. He gave me hope that this year would turn out good even though he doesn't know it. Mr. Cross was the one always asking if I was feeling okay and to that I say thank you because in the beginning of the year I had absolutely no one. He was the first one who actually showed true concern for my well being and till this day I am really grateful for that. All the little things he does in his classroom make my day as well. The memes he puts in google slides for an assignment are always the best. I respect Mr. Cross for always being himself and I hope to one day break my shell and be able to be the best me I can be. Mr. Cross, you're the best, both as a teacher and a person.
