McDonald’s New Food Release
Updated: Oct 27, 2020
During the month of September McDonald’s introduced a couple of new items to their food menu. These items include the Chips Ahoy McFlurry, Spicy McNuggets, and The Travis Scott Meal. As of now all these items are said to be for a limited time only; especially the Travis Scott Meal. The Travis Scott Meal includes a Bacon Quarter Pounder with cheese and lettuce, medium fries, BBQ dipping sauce, and a fountain drink of choice. When trying the Travis Scott Meal I wasn’t expecting much because I’ve had a quarter pounder with cheese so the only difference would be the bacon and lettuce added to it. I would rate the burger itself a 6.5 out of 10 because it has a lot of items that I personally don’t like such as mustard and pickles. The meal as a whole would probably be an 8 because you get your money’s worth and the fries are delicious.
The Chips Ahoy McFlurry is definitely my favorite McFlurry available right now; 10 out of 10. It’s made up of soft serve vanilla ice cream, caramel drizzle and chips ahoy cookie crumbs. At first I was iffy about trying it because I’m not a big fan of the Oreo or M&M McFlurries but once I tried the Chips Ahoy McFlurry my life changed. I was blown away at the fact that it was actually very good.
Now for the Spicy McNuggets. The Spicy McNuggets are coated with cayenne and chili peppers. I personally don’t think they’re spicy but they definitely have a kick of flavor to them. If I had to choose over these or the regular McNuggets I would choose these because the regular nuggets are plain and dry. I would suggest eating these with ranch because they just taste better with ranch. Overall I would say they’re a 4.5 out of 5 just because they aren’t actually spicy but they are still good and savory.
